Finance for UAE residents buying property abroad.
If you live in the UAE and want to buy property in another country, an international mortgage lets you finance it with a lender that accepts UAE-based income. Criteria depend on the country, the lender and the currency. We help you understand the options and prepare your application. Buying in the UAE from overseas instead? See our non-resident mortgages.
Overseas purchases bring extra questions: currency, local buying rules and how lenders view UAE income. We'll walk you through them before you commit.

- Currency. Earning in dirhams and paying in another currency adds exchange-rate risk.
- Local rules. Each country has its own buying costs, taxes and rules for foreign buyers.
- Documents. Expect to provide UAE salary or business documents, bank statements and a credit history.
