How the term is decided
The Central Bank allows a maximum term of 25 years. Each lender then sets a maximum age at the end of the loan, which often differs for salaried and self-employed borrowers and for nationals and expatriates.
Longer term, lower payment
A longer term lowers the monthly payment but increases the total interest you pay.
